What’s Changing?
Gone are the days of waiting 4 to 6 weeks for paper forms to crawl through the mail. Under the old system, your paperwork had to be physically mailed to the Firearm Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO) for manual stamping and return.
Now, we’ve gone digital:
- Instant Proof: You’ll receive a copy of your completed RCMP form the moment you finish your CFSC or CRFSC course.
- Real-Time Submissions: We upload your results directly to the RCMP’s portal immediately following your class.
- Rapid Verification: Once the FSESO verifies the digital file, you’ll get an automated email notification from the RCMP.

This initiative has successfully cut the administrative “dead time” from over a month down to 2 weeks or less. By eliminating the reliance on physical mail-in reports, we are removing the biggest bottleneck in the Canadian firearms PAL licensing process.
