In Ontario, the Canadian Firearms Safety Course cost is determined by the Chief Firearm Officer (CFO). This means all CFSC providers in Ontario must adhere to the set pricing, ensuring consistency and fairness across the province. Ottawa Firearm Safety provides the CFSC course priced within the confines of the same guidelines that all CFSC providers in Ontario must follow.
Registered course providers in Ontario are required to charge Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on these courses. This is a mandated practice under provincial regulation.

Ottawa Firearm Safety provides manuals in class at the cost price. Ottawa Firearm Safety does not make any profit on the sale of student handbooks. These are offered in class as a service and courtesy because hard copies of the manual are otherwise very difficult to find.
Note that the cost of buying the hard copy of the manual is cheaper than printing a copy.
