The Stand Alone Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (RPAL) course requires participants to have already completed the Canadian Firearms Safety Course. This course is 6 hours of instruction and handling with restricted firearms. This course offers participants who already have completed the Canadian Firearms Safety Course with the opportunity to expand their experience and qualifications with restricted firearms.

- Operating firearm actions
- Safe handling and carry procedures
- Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user
- Safe storage, display, transportation, and handling of firearms
Prerequisites
- Successful completion of CFSC course or valid PAL
- Aged 18+ to apply for PAL with restricted privileges
- Minors may take the CRFSC course for educational purposes only with parental consent (To apply for a PAL after the age of 18, students must retake the course and pass the written and practical exams)
